It was inevitable that Helen would eventually turn her camera on food, one of her favourite subjects! She not only enjoys eating good food, but she's a keen cook who grows much of her own produce on her East Dulwich allotment.
Working with daylight (or with artificial light to achieve a natural feel), Helen creates food imagery that's fresh, vibrant and appetising. Food photography is a skilled job which, when executed well, makes food look fabulous. But if done badly, it can make even the most well-prepared dish look like a dog's dinner. It's an area where it really pays to invest in professional photography.
